Categories in use
Three categories run on volcemood.info. Strictly necessary storage keeps the page and the support chat working — it never asks permission because it isn't optional. Analytics storage, gated by the analytics_storage signal, measures which pages get read once you allow it. Advertising storage, gated by ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization, records the click identifier that brought a visitor here from a paid ad, again only once allowed.
Nothing on this list is a fourth, unnamed category. If a script on this site sets a cookie that isn't in the table below, that is a defect in the site, not a hidden category — write to us and we will fix it.

Which platforms, which identifiers
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send paid clicks to volcemood.info as a matter of how this business finds customers, not as a hypothetical. Google Ads attaches a gclid parameter to its ad links. Microsoft Advertising attaches msclkid. Meta Ads attaches fbclid, on the campaigns that run there. Each one lets the platform that owns it match a visit on this site back to the specific ad that was clicked, so the advertiser — VolceMood — can see which keyword or placement is actually working.
Every one of these three identifiers is treated as advertising storage. They are only recorded once ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are all set to granted by your consent choice, described in the next part.
A gclid or msclkid in the address bar of a link you clicked is normal and expected on this site — it's how the ad platform gets paid for sending you here, and it's the reason the banner asks before anything gets stored against it.
Consent Mode v2
This site runs on Google's Consent Mode v2. Four signals control it: ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage. All four load as denied for every visitor, before anybody has made a choice, on every single page load. They only flip to granted after you press Allow storage on the banner, and they flip straight back to denied the moment you press Decline or reopen the banner and change your mind.
How you give or change consent
The banner at the base of the page offers two buttons: Allow storage and Decline. Whichever you press is written to your browser under the key site_consent_v2, and that key is the only consent record this site keeps — there is no server-side profile of your choice. To change it later, open Cookie settings in the footer of any page; that reopens the same banner and lets you flip the decision again, at any time, without needing to find this page first.
What happens if you decline
The site keeps working. Every page still loads, the inquiry form still posts to submit.php, and the support chat still opens and answers. What stops is measurement and attribution: no analytics_storage means no record of which pages you read, and no ad_storage, ad_user_data or ad_personalization means the ad platforms get no signal back from your visit at all. We also read the Sec-GPC header your browser can send — Global Privacy Control — and treat its presence as a decline without showing the banner again.
The platforms' own documents
Google's handling of ad_storage, analytics_storage and the gclid identifier is written up at policies.google.com. Microsoft's handling of msclkid sits in the Microsoft privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement. Meta's handling of fbclid, on campaigns that run there, is described in Meta's own data policy. None of these three has reviewed or approved volcemood.info; they simply process the identifier their own ad product attaches.
Beyond the banner, your browser has its own cookie controls — most let you block third-party storage outright or clear it after every session. Those settings sit outside this site and outside this notice, and they apply on top of whatever you choose here.
